If you're growing 12 plants or under. I would definitely hand water. It doesn't take much water or effort for a few plants. Automated systems are nice in a sense for big grows where watering 100 plants would take hours by hand. Running clay pebbles as a dwc is a tough thing to try right out the gate and many issues can pop up. I'd stay with coco. Perfecte growing in soil first before moving on to hydroponics. Not needed. But my advice. If you'd like to study hydroponics more. You can put an airstone in the tank and finish this grow out. If you go to my profile. Click on my Instagram page and I have alot of helpful tips in my posts. Plus my super soil recipe. My diary started as the cheapest "but not minimum" organic grow i could start. I've only watered my soil since day 1 and I haven't added anything new.

Ok thanks mate what do you think I should do that autopot system was £60 it’s called go-gro it’s a 4 pot it can with clay pebbles I just poured the bags in and the mat then just re potted them from the grow bags into this. So I should try an air stone in the resivoirand that will keep the Feed fresh. Do you just hand feed in coco. Was looking at oxy pots but I get to high and take on to much and want to do it all too soon 😂😂

if its being ran off a reservoir with no airstones. Its best to change out that water every two days. And id switch between feeding and pure water every 2 days aswell to make sure you're not building up salt and nutrient lock. Learn how much your plants uptake so you don't mix too much feed and waste it if your pouring it out in 2 days. This isn't flushing the salt buildup out of the soil. Youd need to water from the top and push everything down.. Imo I don't think this feeding system is effective.

No that’s fine that was my next question I was thinking should I finish it or just start again I’m waiting on some autos again not the best yield but won’t have to wait half as long as I have think I will be lucky to pull a W between the to banana and a half of luck from the deep sweet grapefruit

I see what you're saying. Well. Its kinda too late to try and fix anything crazy. I'm sure you're aware this will provide a very small harvest. Its best to finish this grow out. Call it a learning grow and start a new one and try again. I know seeds aren't cheap but its your best bet

Hi thanks for replying. At first they where under a 300 W led then got a 600w led I was using it all this time on with just the bloom switched on then read elsewhere I should have both switched on so have done that now yes I was just feeding them constant not just plain water until yesterday and today I have hand fed them I bought a 4 autopot system from Amazon it doesn’t run off anywhere this a mechanism on the tray that stops water when it’s to full I was under the impression you just left it on probably another mistake I have only ever used soil so all this is new. The one that’s fairly decent in size and growing better than the Tropicana banana is the freebie I got deep sweet grapefruit. I have her in a grow bag and have just been feeding her from the same tank not sure if that’s the run off but it’s the other tube from the last connection and just feed it from there sorry if my terminology isn’t great but I’m no pro 😂👍🏻

You have no foliage for photosynthesis. Not sure what you can do at this point. Give them bloom nutes and wait...

6 weeks of veg. Damn. So in that case I'm sure you're feeding the recommended dose of bloom by now. Honestly. Its a tough call. If you gave a ppm/ec meter, it would be best to test your runoff water and see if its high or average in notes. This is what will decide if you need to cut back the strength of fertilizer. Im out going to say go 1/2 strength. If you can't test your runoff water. They are dark green so. I advice for now dropping whatever strength you're using to 3/4 strength. What is your feeding/water schedule. Do you Feed-feed-water Water-feed-water Or do you always fertilize your water each watering? I'd love to try and help you on future grows if you'd like. I see potential.

I defoliators too much I think also is it worth it to continue with the two smaller Tropicana banana the smaller one was main kola from the Tropicana I topped but split training so dipped it in root juice and planted it and that’s the result

Thanks for the reply but no these are photoperiod they where veging for about 6 weeks but it wasn’t the best set up at this stage and think it must have been to humid. I also flipped them about 5 weeks ago when there in the tent using biobizz grow and biobizz top max and bio bloom. Should I continue with water do you have any soloutions? Thanks 👍🏻

Well, with no diary to go off of. I'm guessing these are autoflowers as well considering their size or did you flip to flower early on photoperiods? Either way, it looks like the plant never grew a good size root ball and didn't grow much before it started to flower. Small roots = Small plants = small buds. But this does look like a more extreme case since you say theres been almost 0 growth in 2 weeks. It could possibly be stunted from an early age. Very dark green leaves, so possibly of a toxicity stunting the growth. Too much nitrogen during the flowering stage. With little information this is what I have to offer. Thanks
