If you really are feeding 4.4 EC/ 2200 PPM, then yes you are over feeding by a lot. But that seems to be a mistake, since with that strength, it would be a miracle you have not burned it to a crisp.

I have a cheap ppm/ec meter and it seems to be working ok. My filtered tap water is 100 ppm and I add 300 ppm of nutrients for my autoflowers when in veg for a total of 400 ppm. I do this every 3rd water and its organic 4 1 1 fish emulsion. When my plants are in heavy flower I gave them 700 ppm total one time of organic-based bloom 9 16 16. They liked it but I also have slight tip burn. Next time I will adjust it down to 600 ppm in flower and see what happens. I am growing in coco. Hope this helps.

Lockout or not enough nutsthe plant gets yelloish with brown spots ant brown leave tips i checked the ph an how ever it was about 4.8... i flushed the soil to a ph of about 5.2 and gave her a little feeding.
Temps between 23 and 26 c°, the light is very close.. might be to close

Day 24 and yellow / brown leaf tips.Day 24 and yellow / brown leaf tips.
I wrote a full overview in my diary entry this week.
Plant had yellow lower leaf tips from week 2.
Added coffee for nitrogen.
Tent temp hit 33c due to fan issue and plant had yellow-brown but other plant is fine.
