Yes that idea is fine👍
The normal method involves putting the net 10 inches from the top of the plant. Some people top before it gets to the net while others leave it to reach the net normally before weaving it in to the net and once the net is 70% ish full flip to flower.
Obviously depending on the strain you may need to fill the net more or less than the 70%.

ScrOG tucking: expose lower smaller bud sites by tucking/compacting main cola branches?For a better yield, should I aggressively (but gently) bend main leading branches and tuck all shading fans to expose young 'undergrowth' branches (circled) and bud sites to light, or, inversely, untuck fans and straighten leading branches to give more light energy to them?

Too many colas? (Serious)I'm scared that I have too many colas. I have to continuously trim leaves to avoid humidity hotspots. The internodal distance is super short. Will this tape repair a broken stem?Should I re-wrap this broken stem? Bent with too much pressure and there was a snap, though not completely severed. I applied two or three layers of duct tape, not sure if the constant pull of ties will allow it to heal and repair. When should I take the tape off?
