Does a bottom feed watering system need to stay wet? Or can it dry out before refilling? And why? Thanks!I'm using the AC Infinity SELF-WATERING FABRIC POT BASE. I don't top feed, so does anyone know if I should let the reservoir dry out? Or, because it's a form of hydroponics, do I make sure to keep water in there all the times? Also, should I keep the nutrients constant? Thanks!

To water or not to water, that is the question. Week 4Hello everyone. Today I've noticed that the leaves of the biggest plant are drooping a little. I think it is due to under watering because the smallest of the 3 is standing firm. The soil seemed to be dry for a whole finger so I watered a little. Could someone please confirm?

Why has my plant slowed down to a trickle in water uptake from the wick bottom feed system?So I have a bottom feed wick system. Works great, but now my plant is dry on the bottom and seems to have slowed down to a trickle of water uptake. What does this mean? The soil is also drying out pretty quickly as well. Ambas tienen 4 semanas y han mostrado esos indicios solo en las hojas viejas, pienso que puede ser déficit de calcio/magnesio, aunque no controlo pH, así que es un factor que también quizás debería considerar. Automatic irrigationI bought a dustbin with a lid as bought a water pump, tubing, 4mm connectors and 4mm plastic sprayers that are meant to be controllable by screwing a lid.
It’s not all 4mm tubing. The flow is so weak and I can’t figure out why. The pump has a big enough flow. What a let down :(
