Having problems with yellowing on a Ultimate Auto front left w/ yellow-striped leaves. Big Bud's Auto in same solution are not growing as fast yellowing w/curving leaves, while birthday cake Auto , in same, is thriving. All plants started in FoxFarm Hydro at the same time. Help

You don't want the medium to be soaked. Once the roots grow through the basket the medium is only really there to support the plant.

Thanks guys for so many great messages! I think I've got it nipped. I did not have a gap between my basket and the surface. I happened to buy myself a nice little Christmas present and I'm learning the light as well. Okay I might be a little bit strong now that I've turned it down all is good on the homefront!

I would check the ph and solution temps. Make sure your air stones are supplying enough oxygen. Lastly make sure buckets solution isn't touching your net pots. Let the roots grow down into the solution.

Actually feeding the grow formula (picked the wrong one). I do not have a gap though will try that. I did soak the rock wool and drop the pH.

According to your diary your feeding bloom nutes. I would still be using grow nutes at this stage. Also you have no mention of ph which should be about 5.8. If you didn't pre soak your hydroton in ph 5.5 1st that could cause a problem. Make sure you have a gap between the basket and the water.

Soil too hot or on the warm side?50/50 HF and OF. 3 weeks. Plant is fine in the morning and during day(2nd pic), hour after dark she claws up. No yellowing or burning. Looks decent, just claws up at night. Another plant with 100% equal conditions is thriving/more full (last pic). Watering 4/5 days now.

Help: potential over fertilisation or over waterningI used Biobizz bio grow, 2ml/L and sprayed them more than usual. The tip of the leaves is getting yellow. 2 plants have the leaves pointing down and seem more textured and tick. The other 2 (the biggest) seem better, but the yellowing of the leaves is more evident.

Overwatered cubes in hydro? Too close to the sun? or effect of having addHi All, I have issues with my first hydro grow - i effed up. I think i was too slow in the transfer over in the tank. Light is 200 PPFD, EC at 0.6, and barely added any nutes.
