Just wondered what people’s opinions are on watering, seeds sprouted from the soils yesterday and soil is already looking dry half inch or so below the surface, would you guys water? And if so how much? 🤞🏽👍🏽

Hello! Rule of thumb is to keep the substrate moist but not flooded until the plant establishes some roots, say 2 weeks, of which the first week is paramount. So small quantities, anywhere between 200 ml 3 times a day, or half a liter once a day , up to a liter ,at 20°C temperature, depending on your climate conditions. Then you can allow the substrate to dry an inch or less. Hope this helps.

Its funny your question comes today, I explain why i would say iam aexperienced grower, but in the newest Run i let my medium get to dry... and 3 Seeds died, ( dried roots) the seeds like it humid // moisty but not wet overall i would check the soilin every pot with your fingerknuckles,,, should be knuckledeed moist/ humid and shortly afer the watering wet as long you dont fill the pot and the water can drain everything is fine so look for her, that her spot around the seedling ( radial 6-7 cm) is always well humid moist, because they need it iam guessing for 50-70 ml one time, and lateer less, just checking the moisture with the fingers llook for her twice aday, until she shows up properly iam giving the Plant s halvved plasticbottles as humidity dome too( only until they show up+2-3 days

You can use a spray bottle mist at this point, its easier to control how much you give them. Just spreay a few shots around the plant. Its the easiest to control so u dont over water. Good luck!
