Hi, This is my roommates plant. I think it’s starting to get some type of mold on it. He sprayed it down with baking soda and water I guess, not sure how effective that is. What do you guys think it is? And what should he do? My plant will be going out there and I am worried.

I'm not sure what you see as mold. The brown tips are probably light burn or death from cold. The white on the leaves just looks like baking soda now so hopefully not that. I've never had mold on small plants before. Usually only a problem during flowering. The best thing to do for mold is usually lowering the humidity. The brown dots look like burning from water droplets. They act as a magnifying glass. Maybe start a new question with more specifically what you think is wrong.

Yeah agreed that light residue is likely from the mixture of baking soda, does not appear to be any mildew or mold

That just looks like dried water/baking soda. The lights dry out the moisture in your spray and you're left with residue on your leaves. I see nothing here that indicated mold. Calm your worries keep good air flow and keep the humidity down and you'll be fine. Happy growing!
