GMSgrowsanswered grow question 4 years ago If your roots are going bad you will be able to smell and feel slime on the roots. This is my feed schedule for hydro.
Seedlings take 400 ppm 0.8 ec from the get go. If you see good growth then every week I increase my ppm up by 100ppm.
2nd week 500 ppm 1.0 ec
3rd week 600 ppm 1.2 e
4th week 700 ppm 1.4 ec
5th week 800 ppm 1.6 ec, I stop increasing here until ready to switch to flower nutes.
When I switch to flower nutes I lower the ppm to 600ppm, 1.2ec to start early flower, and after first week, they go to 700 ppm 1.4 ec and mid flower to 800 ppm again. Ph I keep at 5.6 to 5.8 for vegging and 6.2 to 6.3 for flowering.
Dont use cal/mg all the time unless you see they need it or your using RO water. H202 once every couple of weeks at 2 to 3 tsp per gallon. Frozen pop bottles throughout lights on can keep your water much cooler and reduce the need to use H202. Cheers
