Hi mate, those longer "bits" are new leaves coming in.
She is about to show sex, you can see on the image where you've topped. (image 1) its just a little early to say. At a guess I think she will be female. But you will know for sure in a few days.. just look for those little white hairs (pistils)

Are these calyxes or do I have a herm?I'm noticing these on my plant. They all have pistols coming out of them so I don't think they're pollen sacs. I did find some pistols have changed orange this morning but it could be a fan that was blowing on them (yeah, I know I gotta fix that). 1st grow so I'm concerned.4y ago
