Alright so Ive made the decision and i am going to pull the 4 stunted autos tonight and replant 4 new seeds of the same strain. My question is can I just pull them and replant right in the same pot assuming a small rootball comes out and I can just add a little bit more soil?

Personally, I would not ever re-use any soil, no matter how little use it has had and always plant new plants in new soil. This prevents disease and pest issues as well as avoiding any problems with fertilizer salt build up, pH etc. The soil is usually the cheapest part of any grow, so why risk the quality of your plants by trying to save a few dollars?

With autos, start them in the big pots to begin with. Small seedling pots can stunt them rather quickly and transplant "shock" can set them back too.

You waited too long to transplant. Green makes some valid points but you just transplanted 7-10 days ago no? I’d totally stick with that same pot..

I've not grown autos so may be out to lunch here. But here's my 2 cents. I would be careful using the same soil as these plants seemed to have an issue with it. I would probably try to figure out what went wrong first. Was it transplant shock? Is it possible the pot has been over watered, could be struggling with overly wet soil. Throwing a new seed in there will just cause it to rot too. Is it possible they are experiencing nutrient or pH lockout? If the soil has an excess of nutrients, or the ph is off the new seeds will sprout, lockout and die off as well. If you can rule those out, or determine one of those is the cause you can correct the issue and reuse it. Otherwise I would probably personally avoid reusing unless I had a bunch of seeds and didn't mind possibly losing a couple more.
