Switching to R/O water, after finding out that the water at my new place sucks, I plan on adding 2ml of Cal-Mag per gallon when doing plain waterings, my question is what do you guys do when using R/O water?

I recently switched to ro water and what i do is 5ml of cal mag for every gallon i make of water or feed. Ro water has almost no calcium or magnesium in it so always add. Its super hard to go overboard with that stuff. Just add all your nutes and cal mag in then ph the water and your good to go.

Calculating Proper Runoff NumbersBefore I watered plants today the Ph was 6.0 and 1,000 ppm. I added nutrient solution of 6.2 and 1,000 ppm to each plant until runoff. Runoffs were 1,300 to 1,700 range. Ph was 5.9. Is this in the ballpark. If I add 1,000 ppm to existing 1,000 ppm and get less is that right?Week 10

Please help !Girls hate feed, they struggle with 800 ppm, so I watered 3 times just pure water, next gave bacterial feed, later tried 600 ppm. All was good, made one pure water and yesterday gave 928 ppm and have this, only one plant shows no issues , smallest, fed and watered least.Ideas?

Should I add nutes? If so, with my Fox Farm soil, how early should I be adding said nutes? Fox Farm seems to say everything i need is already in the soil..My 5 gal cloth pots are layered with approx 1/3 Cali Super Soil (bottom) and 2/3 Fox Farm Ocean Forest (top). I assume when the roots reach the super soil all nutes will be supplied. But what happens until then? Should i provide nutes until they reach the SS and if so what kind?

Runoff PPM's are higher and Ph numbers are lower than what I've been adding when I water-When I watered each of the plants with Ph balanced water only the runoffs for each plant were about 30% higher ppm than I put in on the previous watering with nutes (see numbers above).
