Not enough nitrogen?

Sharbuckle
Sharbucklestarted grow question 3 years ago
The leaves are yellowing quite a bit, only on their fourth week of flower. I assume I’m nitrogen deficient but I’m still quite new at this. Thoughts?

if doing organic the microorganisms use up the nitrogen to to break down the fresh dry organic fertilizer as long as you top dress often enough should still be some decomposed and it not effect the plant . usually some fish poop when first top dress will deal with this issue providing the organisms and plant a boost in nitrogen until the dry organic has a little time to break down . it could also be that you hurt them some how . to low of ph will kill them try for a 6.3-6.7 for organic . chlorine or just letting it get to dry could also be the cause . try a flush with PH balanced water then a fresh top dress do not forget your worm castings and finally some liquid organic seaweed and fish poop to carry the plant the next few days

Just feed them a little more Nitrogen, but keep heavier on the bloom nutrients. I did the same thing to my OG Diesel Kush autoflower if you want to check it out. I stopped the grow nutrients to early and it turned lime green. It's just now starting to swell the buds. It will be ok, just don't overdo the nutrients. Nutrient burn can hinder your plants more then unfertilized at this point. That's just my opinion though. Good luck to you and your grow!

Hi—- yes they are—- however— everything you see is a deficiency from 2 weeks or more ago. If they started to flower you can do a hybrid of bloom and veg nutes. Or just go right into flower nutrients/teas that have a slightly higher N ratio. Good luck! ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

Hi there, Yes I would say that your plans are starting to get deficient. Your plants are getting to the stage where they don't require much nitrogen. If you feed them too much nitrogen now you can really hinder the bud growth. I would stick with nutrients that are higher in phosphorus and potassium like most bloom fertilizers out there. Or if you're an organic grower like me you can use a compost tea that's high in seabird guano and kelp meal. Or you also have the choice of top dressing your soil with organic dry amendments as I do every 3 weeks and stop amending on week 5 of flower for the plant to deplete itself of nutrients to have a higher quality smoke☺️
