Absolutely not.. most rooting products are basically a disinfectant with some hormones as well that can help promote clones rooting. I’ve used clonex, another gel, and nothing at all.. hardly notice any better success rate in using the gels like clonex. I recommend just using clean razor/instruments and you’ll be good.
