Short plants ok?

Plants are really short and stubby with a little canoeing. Are my lights to close? Right now at 21” away. I have good circulation and intake/exhaust fans. Do you see any issues I should address? It’s hard to LST with so many fan leaves in the way

If you’re worried about light height - check out this app called Photone.. I suggest it to growers often. If you have to spare for an in all purchase, it gives you a par meter from your phone that gives you a PPFD read out. It’s very accurate I’ve researched it and seen reviews of it compared to the benchmark apogee instruments. In veg I like to have at least 500 PPFD, and in flower at least 800-900. Everything else looks pretty on point, sometimes you just gotta let those bushy ones grow out a bit before you can really LST properly.

As a beginner myself the light strength thing has been hard to nail even with research. I also had plants that were remaining low/horizontal. I found that rather than take the light maker's rough parameters it's way easier to measure at plant top and adjust accordingly. I've been much happier after downloading Photone on my phone (free) and buying the profile that matches my light (.99) and measuring the PPFD & DLI and adjusting from those readings. My plants (which are probably permanently stunted from too much light exposure) reacted positively after a few days of adjusted light (raised higher than the 24" listed by the manufacturer) and gained inches.
