The bud site towards the lower middle of the plant. Should I get rid of them if they aren't keeping up with the taller buds or should I leave them to see if they catch up?
I have upto 8-10 nodes per stem due to LST training

I think this is more of your preference type situation... If the nodes are getting plenty of light they will fatten and be worthy of harvest. They will be Smaller then the fat main colas but definitely still worthy of harvest. It's really about whether you want more larger nugs or more nugs overall. It's really more about what your after..

I've learned from another experienced grower that if it looks like it's gonna be a popcorn nug get rid of it. It will also help the plant focus it's energy on the larger buds and there growth.
