MrStinkyanswered grow question 3 years ago It really depends on a few factors - are you expecting pests? If so, why?
For soil amendments, a useful live one is nematodes SF in VERY TINY quantities - they eat fungus gnat larvae for a start.
For surface, DE (diatomaceous earth) is also a good one - any adult bugs with a hard exoskeleton (such as fungus gnats and other bugs) that crawl on the soil get ripped open and dehydrated to death, just be careful not to overdo it.
Neem is an old faithful outdoors and in and I have heard of some folk using wash nuts /soap nuts but I have never tried them before.
For surfacants for IP foliars, a tiny amount if organic liquid castile soap might help you too - thinking aphids and other such leaf creeping critters.
A good back up in case you jave to use a H2O2 drench in times of desperate need (It could well be your nuclear option) would be to have a microbial innoculant to hand as your H2O2 may destroy your rainforest, but luckily you may be able to build it back in a couple of days with beneficial bacteria / microbes.
Probably best to oH anything before application, same as ever ;)
