Have you been able to see these white flies clustered on the bottoms of your leaves? They like to hang out there and can often be photographed. If you're mainly seeing them around the soil level and then flying out once watered that may be fungus gnats. Either way, I have had the best success at 1) buy "mosquito bites " and water into soil to kill any possible larvae(wont harm roots or plants), 2) Dr. Bonners soap(mixed with water) basically makes an absolutely harmless and effective insecticidal soap...but you have to apply all over and regularly until gone but it's very successful. Any bug dr bonners hits is one dead flying bug. 3) you can also do a hydrogen peroxide water which helps the roots and works moderately well. For the leaves, maybe back off the neem and then what's your ph like? The yellowing may not be completely connected to the spray. Also its very common for the first 3 sets of leaves to yellow and die off.👍

If you want them gone right away then just spray with dawn soap and water, make sure to spray the undersides of the leaves as well. Repeat every few days for a week or 2 to kill the hatching eggs, and Bob's your uncle. No harm to plants and you can even spray in flower if necessary. Cheers and happy growing friend

Hi friend, if you see some white flies, they could be fungus gnats. If they are fungus gnat, they have nothing to do with your leaves. But they can damage your root. For fungus gnat, if you don’t want to use neem oil, you can use sand to cover the top soil and let the soil completely dry before each watering.Fungus gnats love moist soil and laid their egg.For burn edge, I think you should start using Calmag supplements and check soil whether in proper pH range or not.

Could be the oil didn't mix well and pooled up in that spot and ended up burning it. Did you mix it with some soap to help break down the oil? That's my only guess. Hopefully this helps! Happy Growing!.🤟😜
