orange sherbet crispy leaves. Close to harvest

Fastbuds Orange sherbet first grow. I already harvested this plant but I’m curious what the issue was. The leaves were yellow and crispy to the touch. Other leaves looked fine. 2.5oz harvest but it dried really fast(7 days) and now smokes harsh. Don’t want to repeat this mistake.

Your plant had reached the end of its lifecycle and starter pulling then nutrients from it’s leaves. Google senescence, it’s the technical term for what happens to plants at the end of their lifespan.

Yeah id go with some over feeding. the top of the plant took a beating where the light was the most intense. the high nutrient concentration and strong lights burned the leaves. lower down on the plant where the light was less intense you didn't see this same burn. that would be my guess on what happened here but its a stab in the dark really.

Dude it’s hard to say.. you don’t have a diary, even with that it’s hard to say. Looks like lockout or maybe pH issues causing nutrient issues. A harsh smoke leads me to believe it’s over feeding. I don’t believe this is just natural senescence

Yeah I’m with Tubington. I mean as satisfying it would be to keep the fan leaves nice and green. It’s just not how a pot plant works. Anyway fan leaves are not the prize. Looks like you’ve made some dank ass buds. You did well. I felt the same way on my first grow. My Jane pretty much looked like this at the end too. I’m in the last two weeks with my Margie and Billie which are Jane’s babies and they’re doing to the same again. So don’t think you’ve made mistakes. You may have not optimized certain aspects of your grow this time around. The first grow is always the hardest learning curve. You definitely will improve on your next grows. No stress friend 🤙
