Clutch

Is this the beginning of budrot or just the plant using the leafs (sugarleaf actually) as nutrients? I'm in the final week and in 2 days this leaf starts turning yellow on the bud. Bit worried. I cant pull the leaf out and bud looks fine but still worried

High Clutch, Beautiful buds and great choice of strain. I grew this one a while ago and it's a delicious Indica strain! The leaves turning yellow is normal at the end of flowering. She is almost ready and when cannabis is almost ready it is fall for them. So like the trees and plants outside they will get yellow, orange and sometimes even blue and purple. Check out my Blue Hash diarie she changed into all these colours. So don't worrie, dit is totally normal and your plant looks perfect! Budrot get's brown, really soft so you can pull the rotten part out really easy and afther this it gets the texture of wool. So no need to worrie! Almost time to harvest! HAPPY HARVEST

No, this isn't bud rot... if you want to see a picture of bud rot, look at the pictures I've posted in week 11 and 12 of my Blackberry Moonrocks... Bud rot is brown/gray and SUPER ugly... you WILL know it when you see it! I'd never seen it before but instantly knew what it was when it reared its ugly head... You're good - just keep fans going as strongly as you can, water/feed in early morning and cross your fingers. The spores are really everywhere and all it takes is for one to gain a foothold. If you DO find it, my advice is to cut out the bud it's on, wrap it up tightly and throw it away. Check your plants thoroughly every day... Today, at 5:30 this morning, the temps outside where my plants are was 74F but the humidity was an astounding 89%.... I moved all my plants inside! They're not going to get light today but they'll have MUCH drier air since I've got my air con going... Thankfully they're autos and I don't have to worry about them re-vegging! Tomorrow should be better. Good luck to you! I hope you avoid botrytis!

The morning humidity here has peaks of 95 % 😔 not sure if I dare to go another week. It was 10 °Celsius here this night and early morning... Like u say prime candidate for budrot unfortunately. The stem does not look grey or brown though. Also important indicator

@Clutch looks okay to my eyes to avoid excess moisture and humidity its a good idea to give the plants their feeds/waterings early in the light cycle so they can dry out a bit before the lights go out and the humidity rises

I think you are safe, bud rot usually has the leaf/leaves drooping as well as going brown/yellow and if it survives the "pull test" things are still positive. One week to go might be a bit premature, personally I don't consider a plant to be mature enough for harvesting until there are 95-99% brown pistils. Do keep the humidity down though, those buds look dense and are prime candidates for rot. Outdoors and 32 degrees C isn't too hot, 45 is! (anything up to 38 is ok) The yellow leaves might be due to stopping feeding too early. I usually stop feeding at about 95% brown pistils, (start flushing then too) and harvest about 2 weeks later when there are 98-99% brown pistils. This puts the plant in the "10-30% amber trichome" zone without having to look too closely and is also the stage where THC peaks and CBD levels are moderate, giving a well developed and balanced effect. 50/50 brown and white pistils indicates to me an under mature plant with under developed THC levels. Another 2-3 weeks to go in my judgement. Unfortunately, the plants don't read the breeders' labels and will march to the beat of their own drum! Hope this helps, Organoman.
