When to feed in soil

I'm going to start my first soil grow. I'm a coco grower so, I'm not experienced at all with growing in soil. My question is: How often would you feed your plants bottled nutes and supplements when growing in soil and what's the correct pH??

I'm making an assumption this will be outdoors vs indoors. I don't recommend soil for indoor grows. If your growing in soil like a garden bed, you don't need to PH it, nature takes care of that all on its own, if tomatoes grow there weed can too. fertilize outdoors like you would a heavy feeding garden plant every 1 to 3 weeks. I prefer nutes that need to be broken down to preserve soil microbial life, eg manure, compost exct. Liquid nutes work well just salts build up over time and can hurt the longevity of the garden. however liquid nutes work best in container gardening as there is a lot of run off outdoors when it rains. If its a new spot outdoors in the soil, dig it up and mix in some amendments or a good rich compost. will help the roots develop there and aerate the medium. ps plant some marigolds/chives/cilantro by it as well. they attract a lot of predators that will eat pests should they come knocking.

I use three parts Fox Farm Ocean Forest to one part pearlite. I give no nutrients until about the 5th node, 4 weeks. I pH my water to 6.5 and I fertilize frequently. I calculate how many nutes my plant needs for the week and split it over every watering or every other watering so there is a relatively even flow of nutrients to the plant. Many other do just fine with fertilizing once a week so it's up to you. I use fabric pots which means a lot more evaporation. For the first 4 weeks or so I water every other day but once the plant gets some size I water every day. I have tried 3 (ii liter) , 5 (19 liter) and 10 gallon (38 liter) fabric pots for autos and think 5 gallon is the right size. You can use 3 gallon with good success but I got noticeably higher yields with 5 gallon pots. I got a bit more still with 10 gallon pots but I don't think it's worth the space and extra soil it consumes.

Depends on the soil you choose. I run FFHF top half, and bottom half FFHF mixed with a left over super soil. I don’t feed through out veg, except last week to push me through the “stretch”. Then it’s bloom, Water, water, bloom. Haven’t pushed past 550ppm yet. 5th week of flower
