Hello! I'm going to switch the feeding of my auto to flowering soon. I don't like the ratios recommended by AN, since it's for photoperiodic plants, that require more feeding. I calculated few recipes. Using soft water, so need more Cal/Mg. Want to hear your opinions/suggestions.

There's nothing like auto need less nutrients than photoperiod, what count is what size your plant gonna reach, a small plant obviously need less nutrient than a bigger plant. If your auto get a vigorous growth the first few weeks of stretch (wich is not most people case here on growdiaries, for some reasons that are beyond my understanding many people f**k their first few weeks and end with rather small plants) you can feed it exactly the same as a photoperiod eventually a week or two delay with the feeding schedule and's that's all. i feed my auto exactly the same as my photoperiod and they both like it.

@HerbalEdu, Big thanks for the info about wrong seeds!!! That really makes sense now. I will wait till the end of this week not longer and flip to 12/12 if it won't flower.

I have had an auto mixed with my photoperiod from RQS so it won't surprise if you got a photoperiod instead of an autoflowers. I have grown this auto 16/8 first 3 weeks then 12/12 to the end (check my hazeberry diary) and not noticed any significative difference with an auto grown under 16/8 so my advice would be you switch to 12/12 to avoid her stretching too much and become out of hand in your tent. i have grown auto twice and they started to flower week 3, but yup can take a little bit longer depending environnemental conditions. 6 weeks to wait seem a reasonnable delay but not much more.

Thank you for the answers! Yep, my plant is quite big in comparison with other autos I've seen here on growdiaries. It's on 5th week of veg (6th week from seed) and didn't start flowering which is disappointing me quite a little. 45 cm height on day 39, dense foliage with lots of branches. I expect it to be at least 1 m or even 1.2 m tall when it's finished, although RQS states that EasyBud is compact and short one (usually 80 cm max). Last time I was doing a photo in full hydro with rockwool, it was even smaller than this one at the same stage. So this one definitely grows almost as a photoperiodic. I'm lost, can't figure out what the hell is going on. Maybe RQS put wrong seed into EasyBud pack. Or is it just wrong pheno which can take forever to begin to flower, or it won't flower at all under 18/6 because it's not actually auto. If it's bad genetics then I should go 12/12 as soon as possible, but how do I know if that is not real auto? hahaha. I read on one site that if an auto not started flowering after 6 weeks, than it's wrong genetics. Regarding my question I will apply number 8 or 9 soon.

Oh man... that's some strong stuff! And autoflowers don't LIKE a whole lot of nutes! They don't like ANY nutes for at least 2 weeks - and then I start mine off with 1/4 strength increasing the dose only if they're tolerating it. With autos, less is more! You can always boost the nutes if you want/need - but if you give them too much and you run into a situation of toxicity, it really sets them back hard... I have, in the past (and will in the future) start mine off with just bloom nutes which may sound weird but it went down a treat with my autos... I added a LITTLE bit of grow nutes about week 3 and then cut it off completely by week 5... so just a two week period of doing grow nutes... Take it slowly... they'll reward you! They're on their own schedule and you don't want to mess up that schedule by giving them too much of what they don't really want/need. Good luck!
