Hello growmie, There are lot's of very good articles in the journal section, i took the time to pick out a few ones that will just give you different ideas (you can find the article about topping under high stress training - 1st link) High Stress Training (HST):
growdiaries.com/journal/how-to-do-high-stress-training-hst-on-cannabis
Low Stress Training (LST):
growdiaries.com/journal/how-to-do-low-stress-training-lst-on-cannabis-plants
The advantages of training:
growdiaries.com/journal/The-Advantages-Of-Training-Cannabis-Plants
Supercropping:
growdiaries.com/journal/super-cropping-the-best-technique-to-get-massive-yields
Benefits of Supercropping:
growdiaries.com/journal/benefits-of-super-cropping-cannabis
Mainlining:
growdiaries.com/journal/main-lining-cannabis-plants-to-increase-yields
Personally i would begin by topping the plant between 2nd and 3th node that way you will end up with 4 main branches. If you want 6 branches top between or 3th and 4th node. Good luck 🍀 mate ✌️

i top mine usually once 4rth-5 set of leaves appear, you can cut or pinch top off....once the little top is long enough to get it, 1/4 inch or taller above next set below..

I would be tempted to leave her alone. Maybe a little LST.

Where to prune fan leaves?
Ok y'all, was hoping for a simple, hands off grow with just one topping early on. These babies have turned into dense bushes, and I want to defoliate the undercarriage a bit. Fan leaves are huge from the base to the top, so do I just prune out the lower, older fans?

Accidental cloning?
I did something stupid today call it a learning curve. But I trimmed a few fan leaves to open up for flowering and wasn’t looking and cut of a bud site. I put it in some soil with some water. Will that take root? Is that an accidental cloning?

Random Stoned Thoughts!!!!!
Here is one of the 1st leaves from the GSCE's life "Scars" and all. Has anyone thought about or actually purposefully let some of the 1st growth grow til harvest as kind of a timeline to look back and see what the plant has eventually overcome? Thanks for feeding my high thoughts

Should I defoliate or not? Stunted auto
Basically at the end of week 3 of flower. Question is, to defoliate or not to defoliate? She’s stunted by about 2 weeks already and I don’t think she’s going to stretch anymore… would she benefit from a light defoliation? A heavy one? Or would it be better to avoid it altogether?

I've been getting mixed opinions on pruning at this stage. Should I remove the bottom most baby leaves of my plant? This is Day 21 of an Auto. Should I be removing the most bottom set of fan leaves? Should I wait? Should I leave em? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I read that in maximizing yield you trim off the lowest two set of branches. I am growing my plant horizontally to accumulate more budsites without the use of topping until I have the desired amount of branches. Is it safe to remove the lower two sets of branches?
