Have you thought about doing any low stress training, or maybe topping it? Those would both keep it a small bush and increase yield. Just a thought. Anyway. Like previously mentioned, you can flip your plant into flower whenever you want. When I do a indoor cycle, I let them grow for a few months, depending on the cultivar. Then, I flip them. When I grow outside, I start the seeds at the beginning of January(most of the time) and then put them outside after the last frost of spring. It all boils down to personal preference. Good luck!

That depends on your grow space and grow light. If you only have a 60W led then a small plant might produce some smoke-able buds. Usually you can expect your plant to double in size from when you flip to when your done flowering.

I usually wait to maturity of plant which is around 8 weeks or so. Longer you wait bigger the plant. I would advise some training it you don't have a lot of vertical space. Good luck

With photoperiods, you can put them into flower whenever you want to.... there was a question posed here yesterday or the day before by someone who had accidentally "flipped" their photoperiod when the poor thing only had 2 nodes... so here was this small, 2 or 3" plant with a big flower on top of her... they were going to have to re-veg her if they wanted the plant to give them more than one bud - but the point is this: you can flip to flower any time you want!! Your decision! Good luck!
