The Start of week 2 and all is well stem turning green now Wonka is getting used to its environment
Wonka has started sprouting its first proper leaves
Tried introducing Wonka to natural light but its not quite strong enough yet as stem kinked. Back under the light and its fixed 👌
Day 12. Noticed protruding roots at the bottom of starter pot and the canopy covered the diameter of the top so Wonka is officially established and potted up to its final pot. I leave a good couple inches at the top so when it enters flower i can do a final top feed. I only grow organic plants
The start of week 2 and Wonka is by far the best strain i have grown so far, there is no stopping it
Day 16. Moved the light away so Wonka can grow a little.
Day 21. LST has begun fingers crossed its not to early and I don’t kill Wonka
4 hours in and Wonka is accepting the training 👌 this strain is on fire
Moved the light to let the next node stretch a little
Day 26. LST stage 2 has begun!
Had to move the light a lot more but Wonka is happy now.
Wonka seems to be doing ok a little slow but not really an issue. It has one jiffy leaf but should straighten out.
Training seems to have slowed Wonkas growth so gave it some seaweed feed
Wonka could be on its way out, wouldn’t recover from training so removed the ties but as you can see in the last picture it’s not happy at all.
Turns out that Wonka just wanted to be outside 👌
Right you beautiful bunch it’s question time. I used a pool test paper yesterday and these are the results.
Chlorine = 0%
PH. = 6.2
PPM. = 40
I have never used nutrients but at 40ppm do you think I should?
Well the ppm is likely not right or your plant would be showing it. Plant looks good at the moment. You will likely have to start supplying nutrition soon. Just make sure when you do start you get run off, so the salts in plant fertilizer gets rinsed out as new is replacing it.
Had to go to Africa for 2 weeks and in the time I was away somehow the stem half broke, I have taped it back together now but Wonka is seriously stunted 😔
Wonka seems to be coping well with the splint and back on track for the feeding schedule
I stupidly left wonka outside on a couple of really windy days and its well isn’t happy and a rapid onset of magnesium deficiency so its had some seaweed

Urgent update. So it turns out the issues all alone where the soil ph which after testing it was PH 3.2 😳
I have flushed with ph 6.8 water and then added some epson salts bringing the final ph back to 5.6-6.2. I then topped the pot with new fresh compost so next feed it will absorb nuts again. Within 1 day of this process Wonka has started producing THC. Fingers crossed

Once you've got the PH issues settled - as you have with your flush, you should be just fine as long as you make sure your feed/water is ph balanced from here on out. Best way to test that what you're giving her is ok is to test the runoff! I found this out the hard way... for some reason, even though I thought everything was balanced, the runoff proved me wrong... so test the runoff!
Since the PH had gotten terrible acidic, you'll probably need to wait a couple of days to see significant improvement - but you will, I assure you, you will!

In full flower now. Looking a lot healthier now it has been flushed and the ph is right back at 6.2
I have also noticed purple heads where the colas will be dunno why but i like it 🤣

Wonka has bounced back fantastically, Ph is now balanced and responded very well to the light.
So after the broken arm Wonka has exploded turns out it has accidentally supercropped so happy
Today I have a heavy heart. Someone walked up behind me and spooked me at which point i dropped the fan on Wonka and broke its arm half off at the main stem. Taped it up and praying that it doesn’t hermi. What you guys think will it survive?
You'll be just fine, trust me! I had a similar thing happen - trying to adjust my light, IT fell crashing down on my grow... taped up the not-torn-off stems immediately and the plant barely showed anything was amiss... harvest was perfectly fine 3 weeks later!! So no worries, no worries at all since you bandaged her up immediately....

Wonka has bounced back will lots of energy finally it’s happy not to long left on her the fattening should start any day now
The fattening has begun
Found a dam spittle bug on the bottom leaf this morning poor bugger picked the wrong plant, the little blighter was higher than me. Checked Wonka over it was just the one for now and it was located on a small leaf so no damage to worry about but spring is officially a go!
So i thought Wonka was in the final stages of flower then this happened how long do you guys think is left I originally thought a couple weeks but pistils just keep appearing 🤣 something tells me I fixed it’s issues
hey there Supernova, you're far from done my friend, right now the plant has a few more weeks of fattening up and ripening, the trichomes look white at 30x but if you zoom in to 60x you'll see they're not done yet. these next couple of weeks are the hardest because all that's happening is packing on weight. but the good news you do get more weight at the end. hope this helps ! 🚀
Something is not right with Wonka this is now the 5th bloom in 3 weeks the pistils turn brown and boom next day 900 new ones, there are trichomes turning amber on the buds… So confused right now

Right so i need advice this is now the 5th bloom in 3 weeks as this week describes but using a proper camera the trichomes are all cloudy and a couple starting to turn amber. So many new pistils appeared over night again. I am giving it 72h dark before harvest should i go now?
Plant may be doomed after 48h of darkness the plant just bloomed for the 6th time then I noticed BUD ROT on the biggest cola so covered in a bag and removed it harvested and washed the rest but the buds look weak. As mine aways do lol
