hi, i never grew up in a smart pot. when I grew up in plastic pot, 300-500 ml were poured into the drainage. Do I need to water to drain every time I water? when I grow up in a smart pot.

High Marisha, Watering 10% of the pot volume every time when the top soil is completely dry is the perfect amount to do. Do not give more then 20% of the pot volume! This wil cause overwatering and all the problems that come with overwatering. Happy Growing! 😋

depending on your style of growing (ie feeding the plant or the soil). If your are trying organics then the biggest no no in no till is watering to run off. Those precious microbials and nutes get washed out of the medium. Now if your are top feeding with bottled nutes than watering to run off is recommended by most nutrient mfgs. Please read into the nutrient line you are using and try to stick to what they recommend. With fabric pots you will be watering more frequently but less. This will provide the cycle of wet to dry the plant needs to create the fine root hairs that will connect into a massive system to pump those buds up! hope this helps peace DG

You want your medium(soil) to go through wet and dry phases. So, you water your medium until it is wet, top to bottom. Then, wait a few days until it is dry, and do it again. This makes your roots keep looking for water, so they keep growing. Bigger roots means bigger fruits. I hope this helps.
