I see ants in saucer of the pot. I think they are taking the soil’s nutrients. Any advice? Like some chilli?

Hello. A deadly poison to ants is Borax. You find it in the laundry aisle. Mix 1 teaspoon of borax with 3 to 4 teaspoons of sugar or honey into 1/2 cup of hot water. Let cool. Find some small plastic containers like sour cream or yogurt. Needs a lid and some small holes in the side big enough to let ants in and out. Put some small pieces of bread inside to soak up most of the liquid. Pour enough Borax mix in to be soaked up by the bread with just a bit of liquid in the bottom. The ants drink the liquid and bring the soaked bread bits back to the nest for the young and the queen to eat. Place to containers around the plants and the ants should be gone in a week or so. This mix is almost non toxic to humans and pets but might make the pet not feel very good if they eat the bread. So keep a lid on it. Chuck.

You can sprinkle some diatomaceous earth in the saucer and around the floor of your tent... any insect that walks over it will be dead within 24 hours and it's organic. The only downside to it is that it will not work if it gets wet - so if it does get wet, you'll have to reapply - but your problem will be gone. Good luck!
