Burnt edges fan leaves

Hammersmiff
Hammersmiffstarted grow question 2 years ago
Need some advice please. I added organic dry bloom nutes to a 7 gallon pot a week ago. Since then, a lot of the fan leaves have turned yellow and brown. I have picked a lot off but more come everyday. The question is what can I do now?

High Hammersmiff, This is nutrient burn caused by overfeeding. You need to flush out the nutrients with a good flush of your soil. For this flush just follow these steps: You can do this flushing by slowly pour water pH 6.2 onto the top of the soil, allowing it to drain freely from the bottom of the pot. Pour slowly, so the water doesn't overflow from the top of the pot. Use approximately four times the pot's volume in water to flush the soil. For example, use 1 gallon of water for a 1 quart pot. After the flushing you need to let the soil (almost) dry out completely. From there you can start giving water with pH 6.2 and nutrients but do not exceed EC 1.5. When you do not have a EC meter use only 50% of what they advice on the nutrients bottle they are not specially made for cannabis! She is looking beautiful just need less nutrients and everything will be okay! Happy Growing! 😋

I use Gaia Green and if your feeding every week with it, its to much. 4-4-4 almost always gives me some nitrogen toxicity as its readily absorbed by the plants. I find mixing it down with some 2-8-4 works really well for combating that. I also find that Gaia Green needs some extra magnesium later on in its life that I supplement in with some epsom salts. One other note with Gaia Green, you really only need to feed once every 3-4 weeks with it. If you wanted to break it down into weekly feedings then you can. Just divide the topdressing amount into 4 and do that once a week. I believe it is 2-4 tablespoons per Gal of medium. eg. if you have 10gal pots. and you feed on the lighter side of 2tbsp we are looking at 20 tablespoons. 20 divided by 4 is 5 tablespoons a week. But it needs to be mixed into the top layer or it won't do much, it need the microbes to break it down for the plant. Fai un risciacquo abbondante, probabilmente era troppo ciò che hai fatto... sembra la classica bruciature da fertilizzanti..poi continua con melassa e abbassa la lampada a 30 cm

Way over fed - try scraping off any remaining fertilizer and then not feeding for another 2 weeks or so, your plants will need to use up what is already there before anything new is added again. Just give plain water, nothing else for the next 2 weeks, your plants are super green, indicating an over abundance of nitrogen.

I think you're probably massively overfeeding your plants, tbh... and this has caused a lockout and deficiency of other nutrients such as calcium (which your plant is showing) but just throwing some calmag at it won't solve the problem. I would suggest doing a hard flush (3x the amount of water as your pot size) and definitely check the feed charts for your nutes... 21 teaspoons every feed seems more than excessive. Good luck!

Check your soil ph. The organic amendments are perhaps "cooking" in there? Maybe those particular roots just got a hot shot of the stuff in close quarters down there and you get a bit of burn here and there. No biggie IMO.

Flush it, it's overfed. ***DISCLAIMER: Treating diarrhea — In some patients, the goal is simply to control the diarrhea. This approach is often used before testing, when the results of tests are normal or not helpful, or if diarrhea is caused by a chronic medical problem.
