Weird or no?

Is this seedling looking weird? Some edges of the leaves are like sticking up. Then, I look to see what I thought had been a chewed on leaf. After taking a closer look though, i think it just grew in like that. All of the other seedlings are looking really good

Young plant leaves are sometimes just weird.. either in terms of shape or color or twist or whatever! That doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the plant and it certainly doesn't mean it won't give you a harvest! These are the beginning leaves anyway, the 5-fingered leaves are yet to come and they won't be strange in any way just because these are! I love that you are so attentive to your young plant... it's got a great future! Good luck and just enjoy the journey!

Your over thinking it. Nothing looks wrong with that little sprout. I had a strain I grew out once and it looked like tomatoes leaves when it was younger. real weird. As adult plant it was good. Take a breath and relax your in the clear. Immature plants have odd leaves often, but by the time you see 5- and 7-fingered leaves they will be normal most times. Some genetic defects will continue to plague the plant, occasionally. It will be plain to see when it does. I see a healthy plant. A little light green on fast new growth is okay, if it fills in quickly. The 3-fingered leaves look normal and no defects. A healthy green color overall and not too lush. So, you can rule out excess nitrogen.

Could just be genetics. Could be the start of a nitrogen toxicity. Leaves do crazy things when the plant takes in too much nitrogen. They curl, twist around branches, grow wavy and weird, and can also burn the tips of leaves once too much nitrogen is in the plant. I honestly can't tell you if either of these are the problem or not, just tossing some potential causes into the ring. I hope this helps.
