Thoughts on flushing before harvest? I’ve been reading conflicting views on whether it is necessary or even harmful. My leaves are already showing deficiencies which leads me to believe there’s not even an excess of nutrients to get rid of?

No u can actually just do a proper dry and cure to get pleasant smoke. Here’s what drying and curing cannabis will do for you…
Dramatically improves taste of buds after harvest
Gets rid of the unpleasant “fresh hay” or “cut grass” smell which is common on newly harvested buds
Brings out the subtle flavors and unique smell of your cannabis strain
Reduces “harshness” in buds; you’re less likely to start coughing or get a headache
Buds that are dried/cured properly are less likely to cause anxiety, racing thoughts, or paranoia
Increases storage time; you can store properly dried/cured buds for years and buds will retain a lot of their original potency
Reduce the chance of mold growing on your buds
Curing increases the perceived “potency” of your buds. Buds actually produce stronger effects

You can’t know if there’s no nootz left without checking the EC/mS of the drain, particularly when the plant is at the end of its life cycle and the senescence ( the fade ) has started. If you understand, there’s a difference between the fade and a deficiency, it will fade even if the bucket is at 1200ppm/or/2.1mS. So, you must check the drain to know if they need a flush or not. Now, if you’re not able to check the drain, it’s better to flush them just to be sure 😉

For soil, as long as you feed just enough, it is not actually needed to flush, but you do have to give it plain water 1 or 2 weeks before harvest. For coco, as long as you have regularly fed/watered to a healthy run off, it’s not needed, as long as your run off EC is kept in check, but do give it plain water 3 days up to a week before harvest.

As what i can see you could do well only giving water the last week instead of flushing as you already said that the plant is already showing deficiencies. So you should be good by only give her water before harvest.

Plant seems to be dying, should I flush? EC too high and leaf yellowEC 1.45 and some yellow leaf… I adjusted the soup by adding water to it and the new leaves seem to be pretty ok. Otherwise, all other parameters are good. It’s odd bc I followed instructions of the brand (Platinium Hydroponics) and the EC lvl is still kinda high. Suggestions?
