in all my grows, all my plants are pretty short. in every grow I have used biobizz light mix for soil and biobizz nutes. does the soil I'm using have something todo with my short plants? or im just not hitting the sweet spot yet? should I switch to something else?

Switch to photoperiod plants so that YOU control when the plants flower and forget about stupid autoflowers! Mandala Seeds have a great "grow guide" on their website, (including soil mixes, pests, diseases, pH, fertilizers etc) that you may find very helpful.

Soil really doesn't have anything to do with it... different strains will grow to be different sizes... most autos are fairly short - 20+ inches... photos will be any height you might want as they'll keep growing until you flip them to flower and then, after their stretch, they'll settle in... Good luck....

This sounds like the cause is the genetics your using along with the type of light your using.

Hi! Well, let's say that genetics is the main factor! Then the amount and quality of light make a difference, better short and bushy than too stretched out! Nutrients don't have much to do with it, unless we're talking about burn or too much hunger, then they have an impact :)
