Chop-off time?

Do I still have to wait for like 30% of the trichomes to turn amber? Because in all diaries that I read, the leaves on chopped-off plants are far from being all red and yellow like mine, and although most of my trichomes are milky, only few of them have turned amber. Thanks!

It really depends on what kind of high you are looking for. Transparent/milky indicates more of a head/cerebral high. And milky/amber indicates a couch lock/sedative high. You should be looking at the flower and not the leaves. Use your microscope/loop on the flower/bud to determine what stage your trichs are at. Personally I prefer 50/50 milky/amber. Keep a very close eye on the flower as they can turn amber very rapidly over night. Happy Growing! ~F

Fongzy's info is spot on... your choice! The more amber you get (and DO look only at the trichs on the buds, not the leaves), the more couchlock you'll have... Good luck!

The leaves change color from fading on just water the last week or two getting nutrientsout of plant. From your diary you look ready to harvest any time now to a week from now depending upon your ripeness desired.
