How long does preflowering last? I’m on northern hemisphere and we got 14.5 hours day light here. My plant is photoperiod and I saw first preflowering signs just few days ago. Can plants go into flowering while day light is still around 14 hours? Should I giver her bloom nutes?

Hi Buddy, outdoors stage changes are not so sharp as for indoors, this is the first lesson I have learned from my first outdoor grow after dozens of indoor cycles. So preflowering can last up to 4 weeks. My girl are in this stage from 3 weeks and today will receive 14.29 hours of light. Consider that your girl is a Haze so flowering could be slower than other strains. Be patient.

I wouldn't start giving bloom specific feedings until your plant is done the first 2 weeks of flower stretch. Than u can start to taper of the veg nutes and flip flop to bloom specific. Some strains can bloom when hours hit around 14 and below. Other need to be closer to the 12 mark. I would wait and watch what ur plant is doing. As I told u before preflowers on photoperiods just means maturity. Happy growing and stay lit fam.
