They are not going to get any much larger in size anymore, only mature further.

In flower for the first 3 weeks of actual flower I add Massive Bloom Formulation. Makes the buds swell and promotes the plants natural flavors to come out. I will not grow any plants out unless I have enough to get me to the third week of actual flower. Keeping an eye on runoff values from the planter and using Massive Bloom Formation is how I get my buds to get big, fat and hard.

Genetics, lighting, growing techniques, nutrition, temps and luck all play a part. I found a combination of humic acid, fulvic acid and amino acids as a supplement throughout the entire cycle and the addition of mycorrhizae to my soil mix made the biggest difference to bud size and density....all for the positive. Personally, I am not a fan of autos due to these sort of results (inadequate bud development and poor yields) and these days only ever grow much more reliable, more stable and more rewarding feminized photoperiod plants.

I might be wrong, but it looks like you are checking the thricomes on the leaf in stead of the bud, you should check the ones on the bud itself. The ideal time to harvest is when they are all milky and maybe just starting to turn amber. Some people like to wait a little longer till about 30% turn amber.
