Shock or Genetics?

On day 3 or 4 of this plants grow a small item dropped on her and damaged the stem. Do you think that early shock is the cause of this overall reaction or should I be blaming genetics?

If you did not torture this poor thing with all the horrible torture techniques available for plants than this is 100% caused by poor genetics!

A combination of factors in my opinion, and then you have to think of a lack of light and wind, genes and a pot that is too small.

It looks like you used a super small pot and it got very rootbound. Most growers of autoflowers will tell you that you don't want to up-pot(transplant) your autos. Sometimes, though, they fail to mention that you want to use a 5 gallon pot or larger. I say try the cultivar(strain) again, but use good soil and a much bigger pot. I'm not saying the soil you used was bad, i just don't know what it may have been. If you're after pre-mixed soil, i recommend Roots Organic: Original Blend and a 7 gallon pot. Good luck! You'll crush it this time around.
