I wouldn't top a plant unless she have 5 nodes. I would then top above the third node.

When I look at your grow space I would not top them. It will make them more bushy and less tall. That is perfect for a grow room that is wide but does not have a lot of height.
But when you choose to top them wait till they have at least 5 nodes. And than you need some extra recovering time before switching to the flowering phase.

Depends what you want to achieve from it all. If there where photoperiod I'd be topping them 100%
Given that Mephisto genetics only do autos "as far as I know" I would LST them vs HST "topping" them.
I have topped autos before and sometimes it works and other times it does not so why risk it when there seeds cost so much.
Get some twine and clothes pins for a easy LST option or buy them LST clips online. all great options. a SCROG net could also work out.

Can anyone help identify this tox/deficiency?Week 6 I noticed that all the new growth has burnt tips I assumed this was a bit of a nitrogen toxicity problem since the leaves were all a nice dark green, no pale leaves were popping up. Is this a early sign of a male?Plant is at day 23 in veg phase (18/6 cycle).
The "balls" appear on the 5th node.
I've read about immature pollen sac that can show up as early as 3 weeks into veg but I lack the knowledge to say it for sure.
