But always after doing something that stresses the plant, I leave it that night with the light higher and check on it the following week to see how it's doing before switching to flowering.

I would flip them to 12/12 in about 1 week from now, remember that they are sativa dominant and they will stretch 3 times their current size during pre flowering.
