Hi there Yes go ahead and give her a good defoliate you want to make light more accessible to the lower bud sites, Try not to go mad and strip the whole plant obviously but you could remove a fair bit and then just remove certain leaves later when they get in the way throughout the grow .. You can do a pretty good defoliation and clear off the lower branches to make things easier later in, I would also suggest a little LST to give the light a opportunity to reach the interior of the plant, there are plenty of really good videos on YouTube that can help you out with both defoliation and LST you can take a look at my diary and see the progression of my 3 girsl as well to see the benefits
