Phontone is a really good Mobile App to read PAR. Alot of people are using it and theres a few channels ive seen use it compared to an actual 600$ meter and it was hanging right around what the expensive meter was reading so it works quite well.

Yellow leaf tips is a sign of stress and could be from many things, including too much light. If you have a good phone, download an app to measure your PAR, PPFD, or DLI. I use a free app simply called PPFD Meter. You want your PPFD to be under 1,000, probably closer to 700-800, and the DLI to be near 60. Some growers only measure DLI since that's calculated based on the number of hours of light. I don't know much about PAR, but the lights usually come with a chart and you can use the PAR meter to verify the chart is accurate, that the light intensity matches what the manufacturer states. I hope that helps. Happy growing!

A Typical signs of your roots finding it hard to breath. I'm not mad about them fiber pots.. they stay damp when overwatered and the roots find it hard to breath. As the fabric gets clogged with salts and so on. Less water feeds. You need to let your soil dry in more. You can sink a few holes with a thin stick at the sides (away from the main root ball. As lil damage as possible, or something flat at push it down the side to allow air into your substrate) but the best way to get air 2 ur roots. Is to allow the soil to completely dry out from the top down. This will drawn in the needed air with co2/o2 for your roots to breath Good luck
