they are probably some type of smoke or gimmick. simply look at the ingredients in it. these things are usually common things you can find elsewhere at 1/10th the cost or have no real function whatsoever that is measurable... i.e. no cuasality of note and probably not even a weak correlation to anything, either.
E.g. - "bud blood" is simple monopotassium phosphate. This is a IUPAC nomenclature for a specific molecule. no matter what brand uses this molecule, it is always the same composition. there's nothing magic about bud blood. it is simply 39% available P2O5 and 25% K2O... always. if not, it's some substandard, tainted product that is not 100% monopotassium phosphate.
