If I pluck a bud off to start a quick dry and a taste test will that harm the plant on the overall health of the plant?

You can do it and the plant will not be harmed by that . Ps : many growers are doing that to try a weed before harvest

No it will not harm it. You may still taste the nutes in it and bear in mind you'll still have to dry it which will take 5-7 days and it won't have the cured flavour. 👍🌱

Some lower buds different to remaining buds on the plantSome lower buds look and feel very different to the top of the plant. Those that are different are very fluffy and light green in colour. She grows indoors. Peak DLI was almost 60 but very briefly about one night. Now it's dimmed to 40dli/~600ppfd/ 20/4 schedule.

Is it normal for bud sites to develop this low to the base?Buds growing very close to base.Never seen this before and I only caught it because I was removing the crumbling bottom leafs that haven’t gotten light in two weeks. These aren’t where normal popcorn buds grow, is this a strain thing? They will not get any light, should I remove?
