Oh boy, what a question lol. Apparently the new information is that flushing doesn't matter. If you are in RDWC i would just flush for a week using a florakleen agent. That will remove3 salt from the roots so the plant will eat it up. I still advocate flushing simply to speed up the process of chlorophyll break down, which is what makes the plant smoke harsh and taste like shit. Studies show flushing vs. no flush there is only about 15% less nutrients in the flushed plant over the non flushed. There is a reduction, but not an elimination, which sort of debunks the theory of "flushing nutrients" from the plant tissue. By depriving the plants of nutrition and forcing them to eat the nutrition within itself, chlorophyll breaks down, which is why your leaves yellow and turn orange and all the pretty fall colours. Plants fed right to the day of harvest have shown to have the richest flavors and aromas (terpenes), and the biggest flowers, if i remember correctly. That's a loose quote from Harley Smith. I believe no flush will take longer to cure into smokable product than a flushed plant. Simply because the flushed plant has a head start on the reduction of chlorophyll through natural break down over curing gas off.

Heavy topic, very popular now. At least you in hydro, so that could be actually usefull if you overdid, but i saw night photos, think you are very ok by colour, means by food too. I follow one Hydro guy, trust his view, he loves plants. Just now was doing multiple strains first ever try , were no flush and feed till chop. Try to chat with him about results, worst case, you will know guys growing in hydro and previously smoking flushed ones only opinion. @Metatronix This platform has chat. Bottom right corner, press that arrow. Ask him .

Flushing is a tool to be used to fix issues in the medium. it does not wash away or dissolve excess nutrients inside a plant, it just starves it. the plant stores nutrients in its fan leaves and stems and roots, it does not store them in-excess inside the buds you smoke. A proper cure will help break down/ferment all the shit inside the buds and make a smooth smoke. White ash myths about buds quality and mineral content are bunk. its about the temps and moisture content as well as how compact the joint is made. anyone saying they taste chemicals is an idiot IMO, all our food crops are not flushed nore is anything else on earth and they are all most all grown with salt based fertz in a lot of them in greenhouses and the rest in soil. my fruits n veggies don't taste like chems, my weed does not either. Does flushing trigger any extra production of trichomes on stress channels. maybe?? even if it does do any of that, they won't form in the little time ppl flush for that's aorund 48 hrs. do that that thing over 2 weeks how can they form them if they have no nutrients, it in survival mode as its starving. Your also in RDWC, I have never heard of flushing in it. just tapering off the feed to next to nothing as the plant does not need it anymore. The colours like red and purp are from colder temps or genetics, they will turn yellow and brown and die from starvation which is what it does when you flush a plant. and the fan leaves that are dieing out, their contents go into the rest of the plant to support it, not just sucked out of the plant like some bastardization of osmosis. I'm no a fan of flushing as a post harvest solution, I use it to correct issues in the medium should they arise. If you want more frost on a plant get better genetics and learn to feed accordingly to the life stage of the plant. here's some reference points. don't just take my word for it. https://www.rxgreentechnologies.com/rxgt_trials/flushing-trial/ https://www.alchimiaweb.com/blogen/flushing-roots-myth-reality/#Conclusionsonrootflushingincannabiscultivation https://hightimes.com/grow/new-research-shows-flushing-plants-before-harvest-may-be-unnecessary/ https://cannabiscultivationinstitute.com/flushing-cannabis/ Best Of Luck!

Flushing will only give you an elimination of stored minerals within the leaves because the plant will draw from them, turning them colors. It would take more than a couple of days to see this, more like a week. If you’re slowly dropping nuts, the color change should already be happening. The chlorophyll within the bud is what your concerned with. To help with any nutrient build up, give yourself about 2-3 days of a pure water flush. A lot of these studies show the people conducting them don’t even smoke weed my friend. So science is what it is, first hand is another subject. If you really want to test this theory, try it once without a flush. It will help in understanding the difference.
