Organoman is right. Ruderalis is ditch weed that grows on the sides of highways around the u.s. They flower regardless of the light cycle. They breed that characteristic into cannabis to create autoflower strains of potent weed strains, but Fast Buds apparently have what they call fast flowering Photo period plants that they claim have a reduced flowering time of 6 to 7 weeks (thats their claim) They DO have Ruderalis genetics in them, but not the auto flowering trait.

Just because it has some ruderalis in it, does not mean it is autoflowering.

Early version or fast flowering are not autos, you will need to switch to 12/12 to get it to flower.

Autoflowers don't care about how much or little light they get, they prefer a lot of light. 18/6 or 20/4. They flower on their own time, and that's what that is yes.

I'm not sure on this but from what I read fastflowering strains are an auto bread back a generation, so it keeps its quick flowering period but needs to be put into flower with 12/12, I could be completely wrong with this.

yup your right buddy if you see rudderalis in anything it means its an auto that is the gene thats used for the plant to flower on its own i beleive it was found in a very cold part of the world where cannabis adapted to flower very fast as the lack of light in the summer months :) I think anyway i could be rememebering that wrong. it could also be a fast flowering straing i have grew these in the past though they do flower fast i found in my grows the yield was impacted might not be for other peoples thats what just happend to me :)
