Missing Central Stem

Has anyone ever seen the issue shown in the images. basically the plant didnt grow another central stem from which it can produce other nodes.

It could be due to close internode growing, usually from to strong a light. But looking at your picture it seems to only be producing single fingered leaves, iv only grown 1 plant that had a similar problem, normally the 1st true leaves are single fingered then next have more, either 3 5 or 7 fingers depending on genetics. The one I grew had single fingers for the 1st 3 sets of leaves before it grew multiple fingered leaves. But in the space between the leaf and the stem I could see nodes forming so I knew it would be fine. I can't tell from your pick if you have any nodes forming. If you do she will probably be fine. For the 1st few weeks the plants sometimes grow funky but grow out of it.
