Question about harvest

So this is my first grow. 3 different strains all autos from mephesto's. Medium is coco and we are on day 66 from sprout. My question is...is this fade enough for me to chop. My trichs are creamy and the aroma and resin production are amazing. But i have nothing to compare to.

Good looking plants, Could chop now or could wait a bit if you wanted, each is acceptable IMO. Good advice below about trichomes, some plants don't fade to much and some plants don't amber up to easily but yours are looking prime to me. I would also look at the plants advertised harvest date from the seed manufacture, They tend to list Autoflowers in total days it takes to grow, EG if its listed as 90days, that's 90 days from the time the seed pops the soil and becomes a sprout till chop. however Photoperiods are based on when you switch to flower and tend to be told in weeks. eg 7 weeks as they can stay in veg almost indefinitely. Can be confuseing if you did not notice it before. Good Luck!

If most your trichomes are cloudy and some amber your good to go.

You got some beauties there. Fade is very common towards the end of your grow. Sometimes you can end up with some rather dramatic fall colors. Unless the plant starts drying out and obviously dieing don't use the leaves to decide readiness, stick to the trichomes(on the buds not sugar leaves). Everyone has their own preferences on what's "ripe".

Do you have a magnifier to look at the trichomes? For reasons below, copy paste, "Trichomes go through three distinct stages - clear, cloudy, and finally amber. Cannabinoid potency is at its peak when the trichomes are cloudy, but since the plant never stops producing resin once it begins, it's impossible to have all the trichomes cloudy. " I usually wait for some amber. I need to see mostly cloudy with amber before I harvest..There will always be some clear as well. If the trichomes were 80% clear, it'll cause racy highs usually with headaches. Happy time seeing the finish line all the . The pictures look great and ready to harvest to me. But Id still use a magnifier.
