My plant is looking a lil deform, and havent really grown any in the last days. The seeds i used might be rather old i got them for free from someone who stopped growing. Should i cut my losses, let her go and start over?

I’d say let her go. She has been stunted for some days now and given her early mutation she probably won’t be a good plant. Also considering the seeds are free, I would personally rather put my effort and nutes into healthy plants. Good luck with the last one 🍀

if the seed germinated, it's not the age.. either a since this is the 2nd set of leaves defintely opens possiblity that this happened after sprouting - a drip of fertilizer can fry a nascent leaf. a chunk of soil stuck where that leaf was growing etc. Could also just be a genetic issue with the plant itself. Defects are more common than people think. if the nodes are directly on top of each other, try reducing light - temporarily. Seedlings always look slow, but once that leaf surface area increases growth can ramp up quickly. Add in a leaf essentially missing (as far as surface area) and that slows it down a bit further for sure. if on a timeline or have space.. pop another. tip for future especially if seed is free or abundant... plant 150% of what you need.. for just a couple plants pop 4, because why not. This way when a defect pops up you can remove it and not be inconvenienced by bad luck.

Not all seeds make it and this is one of those that will not. Don't waste anymore time hoping for a miracle.

hi mate old one leaf will probably just let you down in the long run. most mutated or runted seedlings I have ever grown have turned out less than ideal and were mostly just a waste of my time So If you have more seeds I would try again

Empezaría de nuevo esperar a que tenga un crecimiento óptimo puede ser pérdida de tiempo. Si es su última semilla puede seguir y ver si en algun momento mejora su aspecto, aunque no lo creo

Seed you received might be old or just bad one, which could be causing the issues you're seeing with your plant. Given that she haven't shown much growth and are exhibiting deformities, it might be best to start fresh with new seeds. Waiting for her to potentially improve could take a long time, and starting over could give you a better chance at success.

In the years I’ve experienced many seeds that are runts and typically they do not amount to much. Only one time however I have had a seed not develop that same leaf and it also was a runt in which the others sprouted the same time greatly outgrew it. Since it’s just the beginning I think you might be better off taking the loss and germinating others. It sucks to give up on the plant but history has shown they typically do not perform. I hope this helps.

Redo mate For the amount of time that takes to leave the seedling stage as half of its energy intake is gone with 1 of its true leafs gone. My point is. By the time she pushes thru another seed started now will be twice as big In a wk and that will still be struggling. Honestly just redo. Theres nothing to learn from growing it out. It'll just be slow. (Of course there's something 2 learn from every grow but nothing pacific youll learn is my point) Just redo
