This happens if your soil is too wet. Like with excess nutrients the tips will die off, but the pplant will also: have drooping leaves, the edges will die off too, the whole plant will turn yellow, cause it can't really drink nutrients. Your soil looks wet. It should not. It should look moist. Let them completly dry out, sry if you use organic nutrients, the heavy leaves are full of water and can support the plant for a while. Then go on as usual, but less water.

paling tip-in from bottom up is a nitorget deficiency symptom.... ensure pH is not too acidic.. hydro is good around 120-130 ppm. trial and error from there.. assuming other things are not out of balance and pH is proper. the plant in soil or similar substrate looks like the roots are too wet for too long. Allow it to dry out more between irrigations.. feel the weight of the pot.. if it hasn't drunk a minimum of 33% of water weight, then it's too soon. Even that isn't a good idea early on as you'll hinder long-term root development... The plant will grow more roots if it has to search a little bit for water... gotta play a little bit hard to get and if you want to irrigate more frequently later on, the root mass will be there to take advantage of it. wet-dry cycles in a solid substrate has multiple benefits.
