I'd say yes. So there's an EXCELLENT full tutorial on GrowWeedEasy ill dm it 2u.. But the zist of it. Take each node. And at the tops make sure to leave 1-2 sets of fan leafs for energy uptake and to leave sets at the very end of that node. Then going through the middle you can take any major fan leafs off once the nodes above them have grown out some. As the longer you leaves sets of fans under shoots the more said shoots will grow. So to make colas. This site is excellent. Ill send it to u know. It is a full tut on Defoliation for the whole phase of ur fens

You are the boss you can do what do you want ... but I will say you can clean up down part if your not planing to switch to 12/12 if your planing to start flowering then don't do it šŸ»šŸ»

It's a personal preference. I like to defoliate in small doses to not stress the plant too much. I also have the majority of it complete before flipping to flower. I also only defoliate to expose bud sites and keep the rest for photosynthesis. I like to allow the left-over leaves to be reservoirs of nutrients that leech into the flower during flowering. Some people like to stripe them bare, and it works for them. I'm an organic grower so I don't use fertilizers. I like to let the plant do its natural order of things. So in my grow style its critical to keep a lot of leaves.

No I wouldnt unless there are lots of leaves blocking airflow and light then it is actually detrimental to remove leaves as they are the energy source for the plant

Yes mate that could do with one. Iā€™ve found if you donā€™t give em a trim now and again then air flow is restricted, light canā€™t get in either. Both of these are essential. Try have all growth tips uncovered. If they are photos then go for or pruning too but if autos just defoliate the nessessery leaves and maybe not prune. I noticed you were doing a few fast buds strains. The ztrawberriez I have grown and I found that to not have that many leaves so I didnā€™t need to trim at all
