Hi I have a question I'm growing the Persian pie and I can see that's this strain will be purple do I need to do something to trigger the colour? Because I still have no purple buds or leaves. Thanks in advance

I see nobody directly answered your question- the key to color change is lowering your temperatures the last 2-3 weeks of flower.. especially that last 2 weeks I run my A/C full blast and get the daytime and nightime temps 10-15 degrees lower than normal. Also 11-13 light cycle also can be key in getting the unique phenotypical traits to express, like purple color. ANND dim your lights slightly in conjunction with the a/c and it will encourage that color change

The purple will come probably in a few more weeks. Around week 6 flower you should start to see purple👍

Checked out your diary and your recent video. You sure do have a ton of nutrients and a decent set up for someone who doesn't know much.

erm i dont see why you would want to but there are loads of ways to make your girl show you her colours. usually when in late flowering/flushing but you can actually turn near enough any strain purple with cold water stress though I would not advise this as it can shock the plant causing it to stop maturing trichomes. people use ice on the soil and all sorts. but it is basically genetics and the purpling usually is a sign of a potassium defieancy in healthy plants this is due to the flush I believe and the intense light. the plant will flood the flowers with pigmentation to try and better protect it from the intense light though this is just my opinion I don't know if there is science to back it up just an assumption lol

Nothing you can really do, it is mainly down to genetics, but cool night temps at the end of flowering might help. Plant(s) looking waaaay over fed though.

The few Persian pies I’ve seen lately had purple leaves a bit further into flowering. Didn’t see any purple buds on them though. As grey mentioned, pheno has a lot to do with it. To influence, you could have a bit cooler temperatures at night, but I wouldn’t stress it out just to see a color. As she nears her finish she will show you her colors anyhow. I’d be happy she looks so happy as she is. Good luck

As other said bro, also cold temperatures helps the colors come out sometimes.

if there is a genetic for purple buds then you may well be lucky enough to get some but phenotype variation plays a part

Not really. She will develop color as she grows. I see it come out the most towards end when I flush and fade for ripening in good color morphs.
