density pistils trichomes use all three to judge. this picture is insufficient. Hairs look too "long." .. the calyxes should plump more around them which makes them look shorter -- when tehy die they coil/retract into little nubs. Genetics impacts how hairy it is when it's ready to harvest, but it's a small window that still helps judge it. None of the three observable factors are perfect. trichomes should be weighted heavier than the others, though.
