I've enjoyed ethos. First time i've gone back to the same well, but only been buying seeds for 5 years. Bought another pack this year. I find the F1 hybrids i make from stronger plants outperform the often inbred lines you buy. Greater consistency of growth and bud quality/yield, but a bit more variance in flavors, which is fine for me.
Inhouse has some decent plants, but way too expensive. Don't give your money to the ones price gouging. They need a lesson in supply/demand.
Anesia has high prices and midgrade quality, lol. Bought them early, thought they were okay, but that feelings has decrapitated significantly as i've grown far better geneetics since. Another high-price seller but doesn't even bring the upper-echelon quality.
Find strong plants. Cross them yourself. When you can plant 20, kill 8 weaker ones, you end up with much more consistent outcomes of higher quality. When you buy seeds, you are always worried about not getting your money's worth. One of the harder things for me is to throw out 2 weak plants out of 5 or 6 that i bought, lol, but fuck that 20 USD. Shit plants are shit plants. Don't want them in my canopy. Don't want to breed them. Useless. 10 USD per seed is not worth hampering a grow.
That's my general cutoff.. 10/seed or less.. i ignore 'free seeds' promotions with purchases and focus on what i specifically want. If you get sucked up into "free," you end up growing shit you have no interest in.
You can find an awesome plant anywhere... question is how many seeds will it take to find 1 or 2.
